All this snow and no classes cancled

I realize that students at SRU pay a lot of money to be educated here, but I dont think it is worth risking the health and even lives of students just so they get that education they pay for. The roads in Slippery Rock are terrible especially today. If I didnt live as close to campus as I do there is no way I would even think of getting in my car, which sucks in the snow, to go to class for 50 minutes. Then come back two hours later for another 50 minutes. I agree going to class is important but not when the roads are as bad as they are and especially when it is this cold. Just lisen next time it is quite in a classroom, every few seconds there is a sniffel or a cough. I blam this on the cold weather and the university for making students be in it.

I agree Alex, it was very hard to students to get to class. EVEN the ones that had to walk have trouble getting to class to. I really believe that if the temperature is under 0 degrees there should not be any classes until it warms up. And if cars are having a hard time getting up the slight increase on kiester why should we be driving? Risking your life for an education is rediculous

I deffinately agree with you. Class should have deffinately been cancelled on tuesday. On tuesday morning i was driving with a friend and we slid off the road, and i missed my class trying to help with my friends car. I don't understand how every school in the county was damn near closed, even slippery rock high school, but not the university.I just didn't understand that?
